Sunstar Hotel & Spa Grindelwald

Fabulous hotel in a marvellous location to Grindelwald First cable car station, the services were great. We had double room with nice view. Location: the venue was right by shops and restaurants, village centre and most cable cars. It had an a la carte restaurant for hotel's guests.

The property is high quality, it has well-trained staff who served a glass of champagne...

Perfect and exceptionally nice setting, it's right by all restaurants bars and gift shops and Grindelwald First and hiking & skiing. Besides, First Cable Car is nearby. The rooms are brand-new and large, have down pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows.

Views are not very good.

The room had a fine view of the Eiger, with a balcony to enjoy it. It included a minibar with soft drinks and complimentary water daily. The spa had an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Breakfast was diverse with fresh pastries and local cheeses.

We greatly enjoyed very tasty breakfasts!

The food at the restaurant was outstanding.

Brand-new room with panoramic views of the mountains in the terrasse. Great facilities and comfortable beds. A very very good stay during the Wengen World Cup Downhill weekend.

The hotel offers amazing views of the Eiger Mountain. We enjoyed exploring the area, especially the long sledging run from Faulhorn to Grindelwald. The spacious lobby made it convenient for family gatherings.

For dads, it would be great if they improved the dining services for families, as it was often slow and staff seemed overwhelmed.

I had a lovely stay for a weekend getaway with friends. The views from our room were amazing, especially when sipping coffee on the balcony. The staff were accommodating, especially the friendly reception team who were always ready to help. The spa was a wonderful retreat after our days of exploring the nearby attractions. I felt the breakfast service could improve, as I encountered an unfriendly incident with one of the staff at the egg station.

I appreciated the cute atmosphere and elegant decor throughout the Sunstar Hotel & Spa Grindelwald. The spacious communal areas provided ample room for relaxation, while the easy access for seniors was good.

More accessible seating in common areas would be ideal.

The views from my south-facing balcony were amazing 🌄 The friendly staff even offered us a cold platter when we arrived late. Only downside? The check-in time felt a bit late after a long travel day.

The steam facilities were excellent, while the shower pressure was too strong.

A suitable option for exploring town in Grindelwald, offering great value for the money. Robin at the front desk was super nice and helpful . Make sure to ask if you need room preferences beforehand to avoid issues.

Had an amazing time! The cocktails were fantastic and Diego is a wizard behind the bar, serving drinks that were just perfect. Breakfast was varied and a good way to start the day. Definitely planning a return next year!

Amazing views and friendly vibes

The mountain views are just amazing! Lots of handy shops nearby for all your winter gear. Breakfast was solid, though I wished they had boiling water for tea in the room. The staff were super friendly.

The hotel boasts stunning mountain views and a friendly staff. The room cleanliness and some service aspects could definitely use improvement. Breakfast was busy, and the ski room access was a hassle. A nice experience with a few hiccups.
